Here’s a summary of the recent golf results at Vivary Golf Club from 23rd April – 8th May

Main Section:

The first round of the Eclectic Shield on Saturday, May 3rd, saw a three-way tie at the top, with Gary Bishop, Michael Edwards, and Patrick Phillips all carding net scores of 67.

In the Sunday Stableford on May 4th, Duncan Stout emerged as the winner with 38 points, closely followed by Gary Bishop and Gavin Dixon, both scoring 36 points.

The Midweek Stableford on Wednesday, May 7th, was won by Mark Pavey with an impressive 39 points, while Gary Bishop continued his strong run, finishing second with 35 points, tied with Rob Bartlett.

Seniors Section:

The Seniors Kelvin Davies Memorial competition, held on Wednesday, May 7th, saw David Thomas take the top spot with a remarkable net score of 60. Bob Stock finished second with a net 61, and Stephen Baker claimed third place with a net 64.

The Seniors Jack Charlton Stableford on Thursday, May 8th, resulted in a win for Stephen Baker with 39 points. Barry Hembrow and Gavin Moore both scored 38 points, with Hembrow taking second place on countback.

Ladies Section:

In the Rabbit Cup, played on Wednesday, April 23rd, Bonnie Nicolle emerged victorious with 32 points, edging out Pamela Shuttleworth, who also scored 32 points. Diane Squance finished closely behind with 31 points.

The May Monthly Medal & Eclectic, held on Wednesday, May 7th, was won by Andrea Howes with a net score of 68. Amanda Woodford took second place with a net 73, and Angela Tinnion finished third with a net 74.
