Vivary Golf Club is a beautifully maintained 18 hole parkland golf course ideally situated within a 5 minute walk of the town centre. A ‘Hidden Gem’ within Vivary Park, suitable for all ages from beginner to experienced golfer.

Designed by W H Fowler in 1928 the golf course is a flat easy-to-walk course with a perfect blend of ponds, streams, bunkers and well established trees.

We warmly welcome players of all abilities and ages to our golf course.

Official WHI Handicaps
  • We are recognised by both the England Golf Union (EGU) and by the Ladies Golf Union (LGU) so you can gain or retain an internationally recognised WHI golf handicap and enter competitions both formal and friendly.
Membership of England Golf and Somerset Golf Union
  • As a member of England Golf you receive Free £10m personal liability insurance.
  • As a member of Somerset Golf Union you receive a free “County Card” giving discounted green fees at other courses in the South-West.
Matches, Competitions and Social Events
  • The Club has an active golfing and social calendar with competitions and matches for all standards and ages with the Main Club having mid-week and weekend competitions, league matches and social events.
  • We also have Seniors (55+) and Ladies Sections who meet weekly and play matches and competitions regularly throughout the year.
