This past weekend saw Vivary go to Worlebury with previous weeks winning captain pulling out to sit in the labour ward all weekend.
Game 1 – Dave Andrews and Gary Bishop got us off to a losing start, The Worlebury pairing were strong around the greens with some long putts going in giving them a 3&2 win
Up next was Steve Wilson and Rob Miller who were down most of the way around! 2 down with 2 to play and on the last green with 3 groups already in Rob Miller had a long putt for the half, arm in the air walking it in he missed, made himself look like a right…..
Anyway they missed and a half was gained 1.5-0.5
Dave Hawker and Mark Pavey next and Hawk looked like he was happy to be there! With no disabled spots available a long walk to the clubhouse and a lot of strapping later they were on the course but unfortunately lost.
Game 4
The returning Captain Kav Butland back from Spain and looking tired! This was all good because Jon Welch had a great game the day before and was playing well or so he told us!! 6 down early doors and a long way back managed to get it back to 3 but inevitably too much and another loss! 3.5-0.5
3 days later and ‘Senior Couple’ Graham Stagg and Mark Payner appeared over the hill 1 up unfortunately Worlebury had a shot on the last and claimed a half!

Good bunch of lads the Worlebury lot but a 4-1 loss
4 away games so far! So some big games to come at The Park
